Sport Fishing

Half and full day fishing available. From $300 and up; depending on the boat. Catch marlin, dorado, wahoom, tuna, sailfish, etc. The thrill of the big catch couldn't be better than here in Costa Rica .

Scuba

Several dive operators in the area offer superb diving off our shores. See mantas, turtles, fish and sometimes even whales. A favourite location is the Catalina Islands. $75 for a two tank dive.

Palo Verde Tempisque River & Guaitil Combo

Palo Verde National Park has become one of the parks with the most wildlife in the Guanacaste area; ideal for lovers of flora  & fauna.

Firts we will take you  on a boat ride on the Tempisque River; the second longest river in Costa Rica. You will see the diversity of nature in aquatic birds: herons,storks,egrets,macaws,parrots among others.

Guaitil is an indigenous village where you will have the opportunity to learn the secrets about the Chorotegan ceramic art and its manufacture. Then visit Santa Cruz, where you can do some shopping and later have a typical lunch at one of the most popular restaurants known as "Coopetortilla". $100 per person

Turtle Tours

These nightly seasonal tours are available from mid October to early February. Watch either the giant leatherbacks on Playa Grande or the Olive Ridley turtles in Ostional National Park come ashore and lay their eggs.

Estuary Tour

Tamarindo estuary  is fed by the ocean and bordered by mangroves; a habitat for a great deal of wildlife and plants. Tour the estuary by boat or by kayak for 2 hours. Boat or Kayak $40

Horseback Riding

Local guides are available to take you through the jungle and to a breathtaking vista overlooking Tamarindo Bay. $45 per person for a 2 hour ride.

Canopy Tours

An adrenalin rush! Visit either Tamarindo Long Lines or Pinilla Canopy for 12 platforms throughout the jungle connected with cables. Zing from platform to platform. $40 per person with transportation.

Kayak Tours

Tour the estuary with a naturalist guide or rent the kayak on your own and go where you please. Tour $45 for 2 hours.
