Scuba Several dive operators in the area offer superb diving off our shores. See mantas, turtles, fish and sometimes even whales. A favourite location is the Catalina Islands. $75 for a two tank dive. Palo Verde Tempisque River & Guaitil Combo Palo Verde National Park has become one of the parks with the most wildlife in the Guanacaste area; ideal for lovers of flora & fauna. Firts we will take you on a boat ride on the Tempisque River; the second longest river in Costa Rica. You will see the diversity of nature in aquatic birds: herons,storks,egrets,macaws,parrots among others. Guaitil is an indigenous village where you will have the opportunity to learn the secrets about the Chorotegan ceramic art and its manufacture. Estuary Tour Tamarindo estuary is fed by the ocean and bordered by mangroves; a habitat for a great deal of wildlife and plants. Tour the estuary by boat or by kayak for 2 hours. Boat or Kayak $40
